HomeShield is a property inspection and monitoring service that conducts periodic visits to ensure everything is in perfect condition while the owner is away. After each visit, a digital report is delivered with photographs, GPS data, and observations.
1.2 – Who is this service for?
For homeowners who leave their homes vacant for extended periods, second-home owners, investors, families who travel frequently, or individuals who want peace of mind when they cannot be present.
1.3 – Does HomeShield go inside the property?
Yes. To carry out the verification process, a Home Shield technician needs to enter the property.
2. Security, Privacy and Data
2.1 – Is it safe to hand over the keys to my property?
Yes. The keys are sealed and securely stored, being used only at the time of the scheduled visit. The process is documented in the Key Handover Declaration.
2.2 – Where are the photographs stored?
The photographs are stored in a secure digital environment and are only used for client reports. They are not shared with third parties.
2.3 – Is GPS validation mandatory?
Yes. GPS validation confirms the technician's physical presence on-site at the time of the visit, ensuring complete transparency.
2.4 – Is my data protected?
Yes. HomeShield complies with the GDPR and only uses the information necessary to provide the service.
3. How Visits Work
3.1 – What is checked during each visit?
It depends on the plan, but it includes items such as:
- Condition of doors, windows and locks;
- Signs of leaks or dampness;
- Meters (water, electricity, gas);
- Functioning of basic systems;
- Mail;
- General interior and exterior condition.
3.2 – What does the report contain?

3.3 – What if there is a problem during the visit?

- Basic: 1 monthly visit
- Standard: 1 bi-weekly visit

4.2 – What is the minimum stay?
The contract has a minimum duration of 3 months.
4.3 – When is payment made?
Prior to the month of service; recurring monthly payment.
4.4 – Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, anytime after the initial 3 months.
4.5 – How can I cancel?
Simply send a written request 15 days in advance.
